Welcome to MousekeMoms.com! This site was born from the excitement of two friends passionate about Disneyland.
One spring day in 2016, we met for a mom’s weekend and went to Disneyland making it over a dozen visits between the two of us.
Well, as we were enjoying our time in Disneyland, Kiz shared her expertise, Cassie shared hers.
Together, we mastered the Disneyland and California Adventure Parks. That is when we realized that we have a lot of joy to share and decided we wanted to share it with the world- together – thus MousekeMoms was born in June of 2016!
Between the two of us, we have been to Disneyland on more then a dozen separate trips, leading to over 36 days in Disneyland. In all of our experiences, we have traveled with spouses, each other, infants, toddlers, pre-teens, teens, twins, grandparents, big families, those with peanut and tree nut allergies, those that are gluten-free, those that are handicapped (using a wheel chair), traveled during birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, off-season on the low traffic days and in peak season on the highest trafficked days, every season, every weather. We’ve had well thought out, meticulously planned trips to the last-minute spontaneous trip. We’ve also traveled the over 700 miles from the Rocky Mountain Northwest by plane, shuttle and rental car and by road trip in the family mini-van. So we picked up tips of all kinds in many circumstances and learned new things and tricks in each of the above scenarios.
We are also budget conscious and very busy moms to lots of kids – between the two of us – we have 10 kids ranging from age 1 to age 17!
If I could be any Disney Princess, I would be Belle. I think I identify more with her than with the others. She loves to read; I love to read. She loves her family; hey, I love mine! Her hair is never obedient. Well, mine neither. She is adventurous; pick me! We both look pretty good in yellow. We are willing to eat with out utensils. I talk to inanimate objects, so does she. Hers just talk back. She married a gentle beast…. I think I’ll stop there. Heehee.
Needless to say, I love Disney. Always have. Always will. It makes me smile, it makes me giddy, it is exciting to me.
I am a mom of 4 teens. Yep, 4. They keep me hopping. It seems my house is always buzzing with activity. And I love it.
I’ve been married for almost 20 years to a prince who would love to give me my very own library, complete with rolling ladder.
Our castle is in Idaho, where we sometimes have all 4 seasons in one day.
If I were to tell you who my favorite princess is and who I want to be…it would be Aurora (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty). It’s been Aurora since I was 5 years old and it’s Aurora today at 35 years old. But I would be Aurora for very different reasons today.
When I was 5, I wanted to be Aurora because I had long, blonde, straight hair like her, the non-blue eyes (dark brown) like her, I loved dancing and singing. I love being outside with the creatures all around. And who knows – I might have a Maleficent or two in my life.
When I was a teen, my prince charming came sweeping into my life and I remember the momentous moment when our eyes met for the very first time. I knew there was something I liked about him from the beginning. We got married 16 years ago.
And now, 16 years later, our castle is located in Utah just a few hours from my friend BelleKiz where the permanent residents are 6 kids ranging from 12 down to one. We home-school and run many businesses from home. I live on very little sleep, but I wouldn’t change a thing…except for one. I am now ready to take my 100 year slumber!
My fairy tale doesn’t end here as I start this new adventure with my best friend and my amazing family!
Welcome to our fairy tale!
Let us get to know you – we’d love to hear what princess or prince you would be?
