My twins turned 14 the day Beauty and The Beast hit the theaters. So what better reason to make THE GREY STUFF! You know, the GREY stuff…from the song “Be Our Guest.” The exact line is, “Try the Grey Stuff, its delicious. Don’t believe us? Ask the dishes.”
Now you’re remembering!
So here it is. My own recipe… And just so you know, it didn’t last long. Once everyone got a spoon, the bottom of the bowl was easily found.
I started with a package of Oreos, a box of vanilla pudding, a small box of chocolate pudding, and a large tub of Cool Whip.
First, I made the vanilla pudding according to the package directions. Not hard at all. Just add milk and whisk.
Then I took 15 Oreos and put them in my food processor. I processed them until they were very fine. And then added it to the pudding.
The pudding and the Oreos turned a sort of muddy brown color and that had me worried. But I kept going…
I then added 3 teaspoons of chocolate pudding powder.
Now it was really brown. But it sure smelled yummy! And then I added the entire tub of Cool Whip… And it turned GREY!
After I mixed it in thoroughly, I let it chill over night. I really wanted it to thicken up. The next day, I pulled out my Easy Decorator and started getting little fancy.
