I’m a mom of 4 teens: 18, 16, 14 and 14 (twin girls). I’ve been at this mom thing since 1999. Sometimes I shine. I mean REALLY shine- I could give lessons- write a book- mom of the year SHINE. Like the perfect Christmas of 2012 or the Sweet 16 Birthday Disney Murder Mystery dinner that I WROTE for my daughter. Seriously, it doesn’t get any more mom-good than that.
And sometimes I don’t. Seriously, bomb – suck – submarine – epic fail as a mom. The stories stack up in my mind. Too many share, so much shame; I think I’ll just tuck my tail and go back to bed.
But I’m not alone. No mom is perfect. No mom has it all together. And I have the blogs to prove it.
- Oh the joys of potty training! Check out this mom’s coping mechanism. And smile!
2. “Life has no warnings and that’s probably a good thing. My family is healthy, happy, and taken care of and loved.” The mom has found the secret of mom-ming. Check her out!
3. A mom trying to get it together and keep it there. I can relate! Can you?
4. A too tired to cook mom fesses up. But at least NO ONE went hungry!
These are the reasons for “mom’s night out”, “fake it till you make it”, “no retreat no surrender”, “make it look easy”, “smile through the pain”, and so many more cliches, quotes, and memes!
Enjoy! And to all the moms out there~ I raise my glass to you all! Stay strong! And power to the mamas!
