Halloween is a family dress up occasion! What are you going as this year? No, seriously, what ARE you going as this year?
Here are some family inspired Halloween costumes. Or group of teen inspired costumes. Or a bunch of friend inspired costumes. Seriously, dressing up is WAY more fun when you do it in a group.
Rapunzel, Flynn Ryder, Pascal, Mother Gothel
For the brother or the dad, we have the smoldering Flynn Ryder. Go ahead, give her the smolder….
Or, if they would like, how about Pascal. Super cute, super green! And what little boy doesn’t like lizards of some sort? Big boys too for that matter.
For the mom or the big sister, we present Mother Gothel. Complete with AWESOME wig!
And of course, we CANNOT forget Rapunzel herself. What a cute quirky character!
Big Hero 6: Baymax, Hero, Honey Lemon, Fred, Go Go, and Wasabi
First, the big guy…everyone’s favorite care giver himself, Baymax.
Hero is such a cutie. Seriously, who didn’t just fall in love with that character?
And Honey Lemon. She was so interesting and loving and compassionate. Not to mention smart!
But, I have to admitt, Fred was my fav. He was so expressive with huge crazy dreams. And he was the SURPRISE in the movie, with his family and all. I loved Fred.
Frozen is still a HUGE deal in the Disney world. The characters are forever in our hearts, and the songs are forever in our heads!
First, Queen Elsa. The original ‘Let It Go’er.
Anna, the sister we all wish we had. So caring, she never gives up, and she is incredibly resourceful!
Okay, I admit it, I’m skipping right to Sven. For a character with no lines, he certainly stole the show. How cute and funny was this deer?
Okay, now Olaf. He stole our hearts with every word he said. He is a ‘happy snowman.’
Kristoff. The man who opened our eyes to the fact the men pick their nose and eat it. Possibly. What a fresh character he was. Sarcasm, wit, drives a sleigh…really, he is awesome!
And Hans. What can I say about Hans? He is a true Disney Villian…and he doesn’t even know it.
Really, there are hundreds of options when it comes to dressing up with your family. And it is so much fun.
But those of you that require frugality in costumes or cosplay, you should ALWAYS check out your thrift store. That is probably the place my family likes to find treasures over everything else. Here is a look at one of our adventures:
So, have a blast dressing up this October. And please, post us some pictures of your adventures and costumes. We’d love to see them. Post them in the comments here or on our facebook page: www.facebook.com/mousekemoms/
