I am sitting here drinking coffee in my new Belle mug (from my mom); thinking about cleaning up. There are boxes everywhere, beautiful gifts that need a home, and a kitchen that is buried under blessings of dirty dishes and yummy treats.
However, it has come to my attention that next Christmas, I will have one home from college. He is a senior now (duh!) and it is really hitting home that things are about to change. I’m honestly not sure I am ready for this up-coming chapter….*sigh.
I was perusing Facebook, checking out Christmas photos of friends and family, when BAM! It hit me! Next year, shall be the year of Christmas Shenanigans! Who’s with me?
I know they are completely Disney UN related, but I am a mom who loves to have fun with her kids. In the parks and out! So, here are some ideas that I am impressed with: (photo credit: J. McDonald)
NO scissors allowed! What you don’t see in these priceless photos is the Mrs. McDonald’s son had to also get through an ENTIRE roll of clear packaging tape as well!
And then there is this one…which has me completely excited! What a way to have to FIND your stockings or your presents? (photo credit: L. Wiggins)
I even like these ideas…they were done through my town.
I don’t know about you; but I’m already planning for next year. Just don’t tell my 4 teenagers!
How will you complete, or have you completed, Christmas Shenanigans?
