Disneyland, Disneyworld and/or Universal Studios (Orlando or Hollywood) are absolutely amazing places to celebrate the special moments in you life. These places really get behind you and help. They wish you ‘happy birthday’ or ‘congratulations’ or ‘happy anniversary’ or ‘way to go’ as you walk by. It is so joyful and happy. I love it!!
But, how do they know that you are celebrating something?
It’s because you are wearing a famous button! You can get them from Disney’s City Hall and almost any cast member. They are available in Universal Studios too, in their Guest Services. All you have to do is ask for one! THEY ARE FREE!!
There are birthday buttons! And they are super fun to wear! The cast members will write you name on the button and put your age if you want them to. And as you can see, they aren’t little buttons. They are 2-3 inches in diameter and they are awesome souvenirs to take home with you. Did I mention that they are FREE!?
Anniversary buttons are fun too. Everyone wishes you a ‘happy anniversary’ and sometimes you even get moved to the front of the line. This September, my husband and I celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary in Universal Studios Hollywood. Because our gifts to each other were our annual passes, I decided to get some FREE anniversary buttons for him as a gift. But the sad thing is that they didn’t have anniversary button. They only ones they had were ‘Just Married’ . So I improvised! And my husband LOVED the gift! And the guy behind the counter in the guest services thought I was pretty clever, too.
This button got me and my family to the front of the line on the Jurassic Park ride at Universal in Hollywood. Woo-Hoo!
Obviously, there are ‘Just Married’ buttons in both parks too. And also ‘Just Engaged’. So many people pop the question at Disneyland and Universal! And why not!?! It is the happiest place on earth and so much fun!
There are buttons just to announce that you are helping someone else celebrate. You are never left out at Disney or Universal Studios.
In Disneyland and Disney World there are also ‘1st Visit’ buttons. They let the world know that you are visiting the parks for the very first time.
There are also ‘Just Graduated’, ‘Just Retired’, ‘Family Reunion’, and ‘Honorary Citizen’ buttons. All FREE!
So, when you visit Disneyland, Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, or Universal Studios Hollywood make sure to stop by either the Guest Services or the City Hall to tell them what you are celebrating! And make sure you get one for EVERYONE in your party!
